They were hopeful that the baby would arrive in April, but suddenly they got a call from the hospital. At the time of birth, Malti’s weight was only 1 pound 11 ounces i.e. about 765 grams. Nick said that at that time his complexion had turned blue and purple, seeing which he was extremely scared.

Nick told that that time was very difficult for him and Priyanka, because the era of Covid-19 was going on then. Both of them spent about three and a half months in the hospital and took care of their little girl in 12-hour shifts every day. Malti fought for her life every day and gradually her condition got better.
