Qualification for Indian Economics and Statistical Service
- Indian Economic Service: Candidates must have done Post Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a recognized university.
- Indian Statistical Service: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Statistics/Mathematics/Applied Statistics. Also must have completed Masters degree in Statistics/Mathematics Statistics/Applied Statistics.
- Age Limit: The applicant must have completed 21 years of age but must not have attained the maximum age of 30 years. According to the date of birth, you can also understand that the candidate should not have been born before 1st August 2026 and not after 2nd August 1996. Reserve category candidates will also get relaxation in upper age as per rules.

- If you are filling UPSC form for the first time, then first create your account in Step 1.
- In this, first verify your email ID. Similarly, verify the mobile number also.
- After filling all the details in one time registration, create registration number and password.
- Login again through the website. Now fill your remaining details carefully in the respective boxes.
- Also upload your live photo and signature in the format mentioned in the notification.
- After filling all the details in the application form, check all the information once.
- Then pay the application fee and take a printout of the form and keep it safe for future.
