Academic and research options after UGC NET

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

If you want to go into academics and research after UGC NET, then Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is the best option. If your cut-off matches with JRF cut-off then you can become Junior Research Fellow. Along with PhD, you can get a monthly stipend of around Rs 37000, earlier it was Rs 31000. Senior Research Fellowship (SRF)
