JEE Mains 2026 Final Answer Key Download Link: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key of JEE Mains Session-1. Candidates who appeared in the Joint Entrance Examination held in January 2026 will now be able to check and download it by visiting the official website of JEE Mains jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA can release JEE Mains result any time now.

The final answer key of JEE Main has been released after reviewing the candidate’s objections on the provisional answer key. Based on this final version, scores will be calculated and JEE Main result will be prepared. Students are advised to keep their application number and date of birth ready so that they can check the result after the release (JEE Main Result 2026).

9 questions dropped in JEE Mains final answer key

On the basis of objections received on JEE Mains provisional answer key, it has been decided to drop 9 questions. These questions have been removed from Paper-1 i.e. BE/B.Tech paper. Subject experts reviewed all the challenges submitted by the students. During verification, subject experts found some of the objections received to be correct, on the basis of which 9 questions have been removed.

Who will get the full marks of removed questions of JEE Main?

The marks of 9 questions which have been removed by NTA from JEE Main Session-1 exam, will be given to all the candidates who appeared in the exam. As per NTA rules, if a question is removed, all candidates get +4 marks for one question, whether they have attempted the question or not. In this context, in the latest case the candidates will get the benefit of 36 marks from 9 questions. Although in some cases, marks may also be given shift wise depending on the official marking policy, but this has been seen in only a few cases. The final score and percentile will be calculated keeping these changes in mind.
