Still, Harsh did not give up and while setting up a Panipuri shop with his father, he not only cracked the JEE exam but also got a seat in his favorite IIT. When Harsh Gupta of Maharashtra failed in 11th class, people around him started questioning his career. People started taunting. But father’s faith was unwavering. The father was sure that his son was not one to give up easily. He boosted his son’s confidence. Harsh heard the taunts but did not let them overpower him.

Set up a Panipuri shop and also studied.
Harsh has seen poverty closely. The value of education was realized at a very early age. So after failing in 11th, I prepared again and passed not only 11th but also 12th class with good marks. This was the period when Harsh used to help his father at the Panipuri cart on the road and also studied.

10 to 12 hours JEE Mains preparation
Harsh put in all his strength to crack the tough exam of the country. In an interview, he had told that he used to prepare for JEE Mains for 10 to 12 hours through coaching and self-study. For the first time, Harsh could not appear in JEE Mains due to his poor health and the death of his aunt. Appeared for JEE Mains for the first time in 2024 and scored 98.5 percentile and also qualified JEE Advanced.

Gave JEE for the second time for favorite IIT.
Even after qualifying JEE Mains and JEE Advanced in his first attempt, Harsh could not get admission in his favorite IIT. Because of this, he gave the exam again and got a seat in IIT Roorkee with good marks. Regarding his success, Harsh says, ‘I failed in class 11, but I never gave up. People taunted me, but I closed my ears and opened the books. Studying 10–12 hours a day, self-study with coaching, and only one goal – admission in IIT.

Harsh gives tips to JEE aspirants on YouTube
Harsh is now not only on his way to become an engineer but also gives tips for content creator and JEE. He has a YouTube channel, where he shares JEE Mains preparation tips. Giving tips to JEE aspirants, Harsh says that first understand JEE Mains and Advanced exam, then focus on the basics, avoid studying too much and choose good study material. He says that it is very important to follow an effective time table.
