What is the qualification required for Drug Inspector?
- A person shall be eligible for appointment as Drug Inspector who has a degree in Pharmacy or Parapharmaceutical Science or Medical with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University.
- Candidates should have 18 months manufacturing experience.
- Must have 18 months experience in testing at least one of the substances specified in Schedule C in a laboratory.
- Who has, during the period of his service as Drug Inspector, at least three years’ experience in inspecting firms manufacturing any substance specified in Schedule D.
- The age of the candidate should be minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years. Reserve category candidates will get relaxation in age limit.
