Negotiations regarding the proposed Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and America have reached the final stage. According to government sources, the details of the agreement are being finalized with the negotiation teams of both the countries.

There were many complex topics, many problems. 50 percent reciprocal tariff was imposed on India. The industry, our farmers, everyone was suffering. There was a need to reduce the rates for the textile sector.

I want to assure the 140 crore people that this agreement will make all Indians proud and provide new opportunities to the people of the country.
