India’s longest, widest and tallest SUV Magister is likely to get a 2.0 liter twin turbo diesel engine, which is capable of generating power up to 216 bhp and peak torque of up to 479 Newton meters. It will have 8-speed automatic gearbox as well as 4WD system.
Magister’s exclusive Terrain Management System
Mount Zaiphu is located in the Barail Range near Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. This place is known for its dangerous roads, dense forests and the world’s tallest rhododendron tree. The off-roading capability of MG Magister was tested in these difficult terrains and this SUV proved its mettle. The Magister navigates steep climbs, rocky terrain, extremely difficult forest trails and varying terrain with ease. During this period, the SUV’s terrain management system was also tested.
