brand new platform
Most of Mahindra’s vehicles are built on ladder-frame (strong and heavy structure), but Vision S will be built on the company’s brand new NU_IQ monocoque architecture. This new platform will be lighter and the vehicle will be more comfortable and smoother to drive.Great design and look
The vehicle seen during testing shows that its design will be quite boxy (square) and muscular. It will have wide tyres, raised wheel arches. Along with this, there will be a spare wheel installed at the rear of the vehicle, which gives it a rough-and-tough look. The boxy design of the vehicle gives it a true SUV look.
Where will this car fit?
In Mahindra’s lineup, this new car will sit above the XUV 3XO and below the Scorpio-N. This car will be for those who want a car bigger than the XUV 3XO but slightly smaller than the Scorpio and easy to drive in the city.
Hi-tech interior and features
The interior of the vehicle will be quite modern. It is expected to have many modern features. For example, a large panoramic sunroof can be found in the car, which will allow outside light to come inside. The cabin may feature a large touchscreen infotainment system and a semi-digital cluster for the driver. For the convenience of all passengers, adjustable headrest, rear armrest, cruise control and digital instrument cluster can be found. Also, for safety, three-point seat belts can be provided for all seats.
Engine and Safety
It is expected that Mahindra XUV 3XO petrol and diesel engines will be used in it, which will come with both manual and automatic gearboxes. Also, efforts will be made by Mahindra to get this vehicle a 5-star rating in India NCAP and Global NCAP crash test, so that it remains top in terms of safety.
