Till now the cameras and sensors installed in cars could see only those things which were in front of them. But Vision Pulse is much more than that.

How does this technology work?
This system uses ultra-wideband (UWB) radio signals. If a pedestrian or cyclist walking on the road has a smartphone or smartwatch with UWB, the car’s system will immediately recognize his location. As soon as the danger of collision is sensed, the car will immediately issue an alert.
Effective even in bad weather
Ordinary cameras fail in fog, heavy rain or darkness, but these have no effect on Vision Pulse. Be it heavy rain, dense fog or dark night, this technology works with 99% accuracy. It works much faster (within 1 to 5 milliseconds) than cameras.
low price and high benefits
The biggest feature of this technology is that there is no need to install separate expensive sensors (like LiDAR) in the car. Many Hyundai and Kia cars already have UWB hardware for Digital Key 2, which can be used for this safety system. This means that this new safety feature can be easily added to cars without any expensive sensors. This will not increase the price of the car much.
