Last January, Skoda sold a total of 5739 cars in the Indian market, which is an annual increase of 39 percent. In January last year, Skoda Auto India had sold 4133 cars. At the same time, the first month of the year 2026, January, was not good for Volkswagen India and its car sales declined by 19 percent annually. Skoda Slavia: Skoda’s second best selling car in the Indian market is Slavia. Skoda Slavia in the midsize sedan segment sold 1946 units last month and this number is with an annual growth of 29 percent. In January last year, 1510 units of Slavia were sold.

Skoda Kushaq: Skoda Auto’s third best selling car in the Indian market is Kushaq. Midsize SUV Skoda Kushaq was purchased by 434 customers last month and this figure is an annual decline of 68 percent. 1371 units of Kushaq were sold in January 2025. Volkswagen Taigun: Volkswagen’s midsize SUV Taigun sold 790 units in January last year and this figure shows an annual decline of about 50 percent. Its 1548 units were sold in January last year.

Volkswagen Tiguan: Volkswagen’s full-size SUV Tiguan sold 34 units in January last year and this figure shows an annual growth of 3300 percent.
