AI will collect evidence of traffic rules violation
Pankaj Aggarwal said that high speed plays the biggest role in violation of traffic rules. Correct data can be collected with the help of AI. With this, the police will be able to get evidence without any human interference. He said the data currently recorded by policemen is not always accurate. Many other violations are also responsible for accidents.
Emphasis on V2V communication technology
According to officials of Road, Transport and Highway Ministry, if there is such technology by which the driver can control himself before the collision, then it is very important. This is quite possible through vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication technology. Aggarwal also said that it is a big challenge to follow the rules even in the matters of challan. AI can also help in keeping accurate statistics of road accidents and deaths due to them.
AI-based solution
Giving the example of Bihar, Pankaj Aggarwal said that the cases of loss of life in the statistics there appear to be more than the national average. Talking about the problem of pollution, he said that AI-based solutions are being developed. Environment is a major concern in cities. The government is actively working to control pollution.
‘Things related to vehicle driving can be included in the school syllabus.’
Aggarwal also suggested that vehicle driving through AI should be included in the school syllabus. This will increase awareness among the youth. He said that the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras is working on it, so that it can be made a compulsory part of the syllabus. By using AI to teach driving in schools, the younger generation will be able to learn safe driving. This is expected to reduce accidents on the roads.
