How will the design be?
The look of this pickup truck will be very similar to Scorpio-N. In this you will see spectacular LED headlights, high bonnet and wide tire parts (Wheel Arches). The company can launch it in two options.
Single-cab – In which there will be seating for only two people.
double-cab – In which 4-5 people will be able to sit comfortably like an SUV and there will be open space (trunk) at the back to keep luggage.
Powerful engine options
Mahindra can give it the same petrol and diesel engines which come in Scorpio-N.
2.0L Turbo Petrol – This engine will give power of 200 hp. It will have both 6-speed manual and automatic options.
2.2L Diesel – It will be available in two different power modes (130 hp and 172 hp). It will get torque up to 400 Nm for heavy work and off-roading. Talking about transmission, it will have both 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox options.
When will it be launched?
It is expected that Mahindra will unveil the Scorpio Pik Up by the end of this year. However, Mahindra plans to sell it in countries like Australia and South Africa where pickup trucks are in great demand. It will be launched in India as an adventure and lifestyle vehicle.
