1. Tata Punch EV Facelift
Tata is preparing to bring its most liked and selling small SUV Punch EV in a new avatar. Meaning that the company is preparing to launch the facelift model of this car. Changes may be seen in the exterior and interior design of the car. The car is expected to get a large touchscreen. Also, the company may also give it the option of a bigger battery to increase its driving range.
2. Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara
This will be Maruti’s first electric car in India. This car can come with two battery packs (49 kWh and 61 kWh). Its range can be up to 543 km on a single charge. This car may have safety features like 360-degree camera and ADAS. Its starting ex-showroom price is expected to be around Rs 17 lakh.
3. Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella
The urban cruiser Abella is largely based on the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara. The company had introduced the car just a few days ago. Its battery and range are same as Maruti e-Vitara, but its external look is slightly different. Its official launch and prices are expected to be announced in the next few weeks.
4. Hyundai Compact EV
Hyundai is preparing to launch an affordable electric SUV which will compete with the Tata Punch EV. It may be based on Hyundai’s Inster EV sold in other countries. It may hit the market in late 2026 or early 2027. Modern features like ADAS will also be available in it.
5. Mahindra BE6 Rall-E
This car of Mahindra is especially for those who like off-roading. Talking about design, it will have big tyres, luggage space on the roof and great features. Its range is expected to be more than 500 kilometers and it may reach showrooms by the end of 2026.
6. Tata Avinya EV
This will be Tata’s most premium and expensive electric car. It is being built on the technology of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). Its interior will be like a luxurious lounge. It will directly challenge luxury cars like Hyundai Ioniq 5.
