Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a ‘Lok Darbar’ in Sabarmati assembly constituency in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. He discussed local issues and expressed his commitment to the development of Gandhinagar constituency.
A special ‘Lok Darbar’ of Sabarmati assembly constituency was held under the chairmanship of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. During this program, the Union Home Minister had a direct interaction with the chairmen and secretaries of various societies of Sabarmati area and discussed various issues of Janakalyan in detail.
In this Lok Durbar, representations were made by local citizens and office bearers of the society regarding local issues like roads, rain water drainage, storm water lines, drinking water and railway gates. Along with this, Chairman-Secretaries of several societies expressed their gratitude to the Union Home Minister by freely praising the progressive development works being done in Sabarmati area.
Addressing the citizens and leaders of Ranip, New Ranip, D-Cabin and Sabarmati, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah said that today when I am present here in our midst, I am reminded of my journey of 30 years since 1997 till now. I salute and bow down to all of you for the love, affection and support you have given in this journey of being elected from Ranip constituency and reaching the Legislative Assembly and Lok Sabha.
He further said that, in 30 years, I have seen Ranip grow continuously. Development is a continuous process, and we have accelerated the development works even in the midst of sometimes anomalies. He added that Ranip will develop as a major attraction in the western region in the near future.
Amit Shah talked about the continuous journey of development of Gandhinagar constituency and said that when I resolved after being elected to the Lok Sabha, that Gandhinagar constituency will become the most developed constituency in the country, we are moving in that direction firmly. Thanking Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel regarding the development works, he said that many development works are being done by the state government in the constituency. Moreover, several development works suggested by me have been completed expeditiously by the Municipal Corporation, he added.
He said that many development projects like community hall, park, garden, lake, iconic road, library and gym have been done in Gandhinagar constituency.
