MP from Kerala raised serious questions

Hisham, MP from Kerala, said that it is extremely worrying that at the age when children should be playing, learning and developing new skills, they are taking drastic steps like suicide.

He said that recent figures show that cases like change in behaviour, cyber bullying and suicidal tendencies are increasing. All these problems are related to the digital environment in which children live today.

Demand to include mental health in education

The MP appealed to the government to pay serious attention to this issue. He suggested that mental health should be made a part of the education system, so that children can get timely guidance and counseling.

The issue of administrative accountability also arose

Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Ashok Kumar Mittal also raised another issue during zero hour. He expressed concern over the deaths due to potholes on the roads and the delayed action by the administration.

He said that to prevent such incidents, accountability of public officials should be fixed, so that administrative negligence can be curbed.
