What is gate exam?

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level examination in the country. The level of the exam is for undergraduates in fields like engineering, technology, science, commerce, arts, architecture and humanities etc. GATE6 is jointly organized by the National Coordination Board (NCB), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India on behalf of IISc and all the IITs.
