While chasing the big target of 204 runs, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost the wicket of Grace Harris (09) in the second over itself, due to which Delhi got the early lead. Smriti and Georgia’s record partnership
After the initial setback, captain Smriti Mandhana (87 runs, 41 balls) and Georgia Woll (79 runs, 54 balls) took charge and made a match-winning partnership of 165 runs for the second wicket. Due to this partnership, RCB won the match.

Smriti Mandhana completed her half-century in just 22 balls and spoiled the rhythm of Delhi bowlers by hitting 12 fours and 3 sixes in her innings. He played an innings of 87 runs in this match. Due to which he was chosen Player of the Match.

RCB needed 18 runs in the last two overs of the match. Chinelle Henry raised Delhi’s hopes by bowling Smriti Mandhana, but the atmosphere changed as soon as Radha Yadav stepped on the crease.
Radha Yadav won the title
10 runs were needed to win in the last over. Radha Yadav (12*) maintained her composure under pressure and hit two consecutive fours to make RCB champion for the second time in just 19.4 overs. RCB fans had lost hopes, but Radha did wonders.
Delhi’s fourth defeat
It was very sad for Delhi Capitals as the team had to face defeat in the final for the fourth time in a row. Despite the big score, their bowlers could not defend the target in the end. It was a surprise for Delhi that despite scoring more than 200 runs in the final, their team lost the match.
