In his budget speech, the Finance Minister listed the third duty of the Central Government and said that Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas is necessary for a developed India. For this, special attention needs to be paid to small and marginal farmers. There is a need to increase the income of farmers by increasing productivity and entrepreneurship. Fish farmers, animal husbandry farmers and farmers have been mentioned in the budget.

- Scheme to be launched to provide loan subsidy to animal husbandry farmers
- If a farmer takes a loan for animal husbandry, he can get a separate grant from the government apart from interest subsidy.
- Credit linked subsidy scheme will start for cattle farmers
- Plan to create integrated value chain for livestock, poultry and dairy
- Scheme to encourage livestock producer organizations
high remunerative crop scheme
- Scheme to encourage high value crops like coconut, sandalwood, cocoa, cashew in coastal areas
- Farmers growing almonds, walnuts and apricots in the mountains will also get financial assistance.
- Coconut production will be increased through Coconut Promotion Scheme
- This scheme will benefit 3 crore people including 1 crore farmers.

There is also talk in the budget of launching India Extension Scheme for the use of AI tools in farming. Through this, Agristack Portals of all the states will be linked to the ICAR package.
