Valsad Rains: Meghraja has been deploying in Gujarat for the last two days. Then this morning, the rain broke out. Six inches of rain in two hours in the morning has created a water-bombing situation. Everywhere you look, water is water.

Meghmehr continues over south Gujarat, with Valsad district once again the center of rain. After moderate to heavy rains during the last 24 hours, Meghraja assumed a raudra form early this morning. Especially in Valsad taluk due to heavy rainfall in a short period of time, waterlogging has occurred in the low-lying areas. According to the latest statistics released by the State Emergency Operation Center, significant rainfall has been reported in all the talukas of the district.

Heavy rain forecast in Valsad district- system alert

Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rain in Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Porbandar, Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath districts in the next 24 hours. According to which the administration has been alerted.

Sufficient preparations have been made under the guidance of Valsad District Collector Mr. Nitin Sangwan to avoid any trouble due to heavy rains in Valsad district. All officers have been instructed not to leave the headquarters. In coordination with various departments, instructions have been given to take precautionary measures and report any damage due to rain immediately by phone or WhatsApp message.

Also, keeping in mind that there is no tragedy of human death due to over tapping on the roads in the district, the Taluka Development Officer and the officials have been asked to ensure vigilance measures in such places and take necessary steps.
