Heavy rain forecast in Valsad district- system alert
Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rain in Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Porbandar, Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath districts in the next 24 hours. According to which the administration has been alerted.
Sufficient preparations have been made under the guidance of Valsad District Collector Mr. Nitin Sangwan to avoid any trouble due to heavy rains in Valsad district. All officers have been instructed not to leave the headquarters. In coordination with various departments, instructions have been given to take precautionary measures and report any damage due to rain immediately by phone or WhatsApp message.
Also, keeping in mind that there is no tragedy of human death due to over tapping on the roads in the district, the Taluka Development Officer and the officials have been asked to ensure vigilance measures in such places and take necessary steps.
