SP Ramnayan Singh disbanded the SOG team on Saturday for failing to crack down on crimes and disclose incidents. 10 police personnel, including the SOG in-charge, have been sent to the line, while the work area of 10 other police personnel has been changed. There is a stir in the department after the SP’s action.
The SP has dissolved the SOG team of the district and has also put in-charge Manoj Kumar Yadav and SI Sarvjeet Gupta, Rashid Ali Khan, Chief Constable Ajit Chandra Singh, Constable Rahul Bajpai, Amit Kumar Yadav, Ankur Yadav, Vishnu Pratap Singh, Santosh Kumar Yadav, Bajrangi in line.
Apart from this, by making changes in the work area of 10 policemen, Inspector Kaiser Khan of Bondi police station has been removed as in-charge of Crime Control, Samar Singh has been removed from Fakharpur as Inspector of Crime Jarwal Road, Dilip Kumar Shukla has been moved from Traffic to Cyber Crime Police, Rakesh Pandey has been moved from Crime Branch to Cyber Police Station, Abhinav Kumar Singh has been made in-charge of Cyber Cell from Police Line, Sudhir Singh has been made in-charge of Police Station HTU Girijapuri, Babban Singh has been made in-charge of ASP Nagar Office. Acholia outpost Ranipur, constable Sabir Hussain has been posted from Hardi to Ranipur, Chandni Yadav has been posted from Nagar Kotwali to crime branch and Renubala from Payagpur to Bondi police station.
