Jagran correspondent, Lucknow. IRSS officer Prem Shankar Jha, known for his expertise in the field of revenue and land management, has been promoted and posted as Additional Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Moradabad.

During his tenure as Deputy Commissioner in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), he played an important role in significantly increasing the revenue of the Corporation. During his tenure, Delhi’s parking policy and advertising policy were prepared, which strengthened new sources of income for the Municipal Corporation.

His contribution towards promoting electric vehicles was also important. His efforts led to the installation of more than 150 EV charging stations in Delhi, accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in Delhi-NCR.

To improve the education sector, the ‘School Quality Enhancement Programme’ developed by him was implemented in MCD schools, which improved the quality of education of children.

Along with administrative work, Prem Shankar Jha has also been active in the field of writing. He is the author of several books on topics such as life skills, decision making and ethical governance.

Along with assuming the new responsibility in Moradabad, better management and new reforms are being expected from him in the railway administration.
