Jagran correspondent, Ayodhya. 35 year old Kedar Ling’s devotion towards Ramlala was evident on Friday. Kedar, a resident of Badgapur in Vijaypur district of Karnataka state, completed the approximately 1500 km walk to Ayodhya in 40 days carrying a 55 kg sack of jowar on his head. He started his journey on January 3.

After reaching Ayodhya, he dedicated the jowar to the Ram temple. On this occasion, expressions of happiness and satisfaction were visible on Kedar’s face. At the entrance of Jagadguru Ramanandacharya, Ram temple administrator and VHP official Gopal Rao welcomed the Kedar Linga by garlanding it and draping it with Angavastra.

On this occasion, retired District Homeopathy Officers associated with the Trust, Dr. Chandragopal Pandey, Som Shankar, Mayank Pandey, Subhash Singh and Prince Pathak etc. were present. Along with Kedar, one of the four others is Noor Ahmed. The remaining three are Revan Siddappa, Arvind and Vivekananda. After the darshan, Kedar said that he had prayed to Shri Ram for the protection of cows.
