The security project has gained wings after Director General of Police PC Meena visited the Central Jail recently. He eliminated the biggest budget constraint by allowing the use of the prisoner welfare corps.

AI based cameras will work like this

AI based cameras rotating 180 degrees will be installed at different places on the main security walls of the jail. Details of 14 prisoner guards marked for the main security wall will be uploaded in these cameras. Apart from this, if any person is seen around the main security wall, the cameras will start making noise (alert alarm), the echo of which will be heard in the control room. This much clue would be enough to alert the Central Prison Administration.

Company’s engineers will train prisoner guards

Only the company that installs Artificial Intelligence based cameras will install the complete setup in the Central Jail. For example, three and a half km. The work of installing cameras on the main security wall of the area and making a command center and connecting it etc. Engineers of this company will train the prisoner guards proficient in computers and prepare them for the operation.

Concertina wire facings will also be installed on the security walls.

The Central Prison Administration has also taken permission from the Director General of Jails to install concertina wire facing on the main security wall of the jail.
