State Bureau, Lucknow. BJP moves ahead after weighing the equations on every aspect before taking a decision, even if there is a slight delay in it. State President Pankaj Chaudhary’s team is waiting for the green signal from Delhi regarding new faces, but in the meantime The presidents of the remaining 14 districts can be announced before February 20. A new state unit can be formed around Holi, in which new faces will get a place on a large scale.

An attempt was made to start the organization expansion from the first week of February, but due to extension of date of SIR and conflict of many equations, it was postponed for the time being. Despite the list of district presidents being released twice in March and November last year, presidents could not be appointed in all the 98 organizational districts.

Five faces given another chance

After suffering a huge loss in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, BJP, in an attempt to cut off SP’s PDA, announced 70 district presidents on March 16 last year, in which caste balance was kept in mind. The party again released the list of 14 district presidents on November 26 last year, in which five faces were given a second chance.

Among the faces declared, maximum five were from Braj region. In the 14 districts where new presidents are to be announced, the party has done homework at many levels. But amidst the heated politics and caste conflict with the UGC, the regional and caste equation of the District President and other responsibilities of the organization may take a new turn. There is also discussion in the party that the regional team and the entire team of the state unit will be announced together.
