Girish Mishra, Utraula (Balrampur). The city residents will soon get relief from the problem of drainage. Sewer line will be built in the municipality area at a cost of Rs 2 crore. With the construction of sewer line, the problem of water logging due to overflow of drains during rainy season will end. Approval for construction of sewer line has been received. If everything goes well, work is expected to start soon.

In the first phase, a site has been selected for the construction of a sewer line to provide a permanent solution to the problem of sewage and drainage in the municipal area. Under the plan, a sewer line will be built from Afaq Qureshi’s house to Mohammad Yusuf Usmani Inter College Gate, from Sub-Collector’s Residence Road to the main drain via Asad Communication and Normal School, from behind Ramlila Manch to Khakidas Temple Gate and from Kashiram Colony to Idgah Road.

What did the Municipality President say?

Municipality President Savita Gupta said that strengthening the sewage and drainage system is a priority for the overall development of the city. In the areas where the problem of waterlogging had persisted for years, work is being done in a phased manner. This will provide a clean environment to the citizens. You will also be free from health related problems.

Sewer line work will be done in a quality manner. Instructions have been given to the executing organization to pay special attention to quality and complete the work in a timely manner.
