In Junagadh’s Keshod, a son attacked his mother-in-law Prafullaben Dave for money from a failed business and looted jewelery and cash worth Rs 15 lakh. The police have arrested the accused Deep Vyas and remanded him from the court.
Junagadh News: A shocking incident has come to light in Keshod of Junagadh district which has tarnished the relationship. A son, blinded by the lure of money, has robbed his mother-in-law of lakhs of rupees by fatally attacking him. In this matter, a 50-year-old woman, Prafullaben Jayantibhai Dave, has filed a complaint in the Keshod police station, making serious allegations against her relative son Deep Vyas. The police have arrested this son of Kaliyugi in this matter.
After the business failed, the son devised a plan to rob the mother
The police investigation revealed that the accused Deep Vyas had to settle abroad. But failing that, he decided to start a business. Hence the accused also started a hotel named Rajwadi Cha at Junagadh. The accused needed a large amount of money to carry on this business. The accused had devised a plan to steal from his own house to get the money.
Mother was strangled and robbed of jewelry worth 15 lakhs
According to the information about the incident, about 1 month ago the accused Deep Vyas came to stay at his mother’s house at Keshod. According to the mother’s allegation, the son entered the house and started beating his relative without mercy. It is also alleged that the mother was strangled. The accused threatened to kill the relative’s mother and fled after looting the mother’s jewelry worth 10 lakhs and 5 lakhs from the house. Also took a bike worth 60 thousand.
The police detained the accused son
According to PI MD Chaudhary of Keshod Police, based on the complaint of the mother, Keshod Police has detained the accused son Deep Vyas under various sections. However, the accused is not cooperating in the proceedings. The police produced the accused before the court and sought remand, the court granted remand till Monday. The police are trying to confiscate the property belonging to the accused’s son.
