Vadodara Railway Station will have mega block from June 21 to July 8, 2026 for yard remodeling and electronic interlocking. Due to this, the route of 27 trains has been changed and passengers will be served from satellite stations, so please check the website before travelling.
Vadodara News: Important ‘Yard Remodelling’ and ‘Electronic Interlocking’ work has been undertaken by the Railways to enhance passenger comfort and make train operation safer at Vadodara Railway Station. Regarding this modernization work, the Western Railway has announced a mega block from June 21, 2026 to July 8, 2026.
A total of 27 trains have been changed during this operation. According to Railway Public Relations Officer Anubhav Saxena, passengers should not face any inconvenience in reaching the main station. For that various trains will be restricted (short terminate/originate) to satellite stations like Chhayapuri, Bajwa, Vishwamitri, Pratapnagar and Makarpura.
Major changes
• Chhayapuri Station: Vadodara-Kota Express, MEMU trains to and from Dahod and Godhra will now originate and terminate from Chhayapuri.
Bajwa Station: Ahmedabad-Vadodara Intercity, Vadodara-Jamnagar Intercity and Vatwa-Vadodara MEMU trains will be operated from Bajwa station.
• Vishwamitri and Makarpura: Surat-Vadodara MEMU trains will terminate at Vishwamitri station and Valsad-Vadodara passenger will terminate at Makarpura station.

Appeal to check train status on website
Timings and stoppages of some trains have also been changed. As such, the Vadodara-Valsad Intercity will depart from Bajwa station at 4:45 pm, but will have a 5 minute stoppage at Vadodara station. Vadodara-Vatwa passenger will be completely canceled on June 29, June 30 and July 1.
The railway administration has specially appealed to the passengers to check the exact status of the train on the official website www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in before travelling. After the completion of this operation, passengers will benefit from more convenience and punctual train services.
