Madhya PradeshNews:
Digital Desk, Bhopal. A serious and sensitive dispute has come to light within the police department in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Sub-Inspector (SI) Kailash Chandra Yadav posted at Sukhasevnia police station has made serious allegations of mental torture against Bhopal Dehat Superintendent of Police (SP) Ramsharan Prajapati. The SI has demanded justice from senior officers and warned that if they do not get relief, they may take suicidal steps.
Accusation of abuse and insult
SI Kailash Chandra Yadav told in the complaint application submitted to Bhopal Dehat IG that SP Ramsharan Prajapati had called him to his office on the pretext of reviewing old cases. It is alleged that during the discussion the SP spoke to him in abusive language and abused him. When the SI protested, he was threatened with being thrown out of the office. Hurt by this incident, the SI returned to the police station and entered the entire incident in his diary.
Controversy increased after diary entry
It has been said in the complaint that the SP became even more angry after getting information about the incident being recorded in the diary. SI Yadav alleges that after this, two separate departmental investigations (DE) were started against him with malicious intent. He says that due to continuous pressure and harassment for the last four months, it has become very difficult for him to work in the department.
Letter to senior officials, emotional appeal
SI Yadav has conveyed his grievance to the IG, DGP, Chief Minister and Human Rights Commission. In the letter he has written that now he has only two options left – either seek justice or commit suicide. He has also said that if he does not get justice, then this complaint should be considered as his ‘suicide note’.
SP says that due to the possibility of being proven guilty in the investigation, the SI is making such allegations in front of senior officers with the aim of creating pressure.
