Ketan Aggarwal Murder Case: The police have made a shocking revelation regarding the sensational murder of Ketan Agarwal, a real estate businessman from the city of Pune in Maharashtra. The police investigation revealed that the prime accused Siya Goyal and her boyfriend Chetan Chaudhary took the help of internet and online media to kill Ketan. Not only this, the accused also rehearsed the brutal act frequently before committing it.
The murder was conspired to be an accident
According to the police, the accused wanted to kill Ketan in such a way that the entire incident would appear to be a simple accident. For this, he searched online for various brutal methods including poisoning on Google. As part of the planning, Chetan and Siya had also decided on a specific spot at Lohagarh Fort, from where it could be proven that Chetan had accidentally slipped by pushing him into a deep ravine.
Subsequently, on June 18 at around 10:30 am, Sia reached the Lohagarh Fort with her fiance Ketan Aggarwal. As per the pre-arranged plan, Chetan Chaudhary also reached there later. As soon as they got the chance, they both pushed Ketan from the fort into a deep ravine. After the murder, Sia concocted a story to mislead the police and the family that Ketan’s leg had slipped while taking the photograph. Not only this, he also shared an emotional post for Ketan on social media, but his move failed.
For this reason, a murder plan was hatched
The police officer said that the conspiracy to kill had been brewing for several weeks. Sia Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary met during a Diwali party in October last year and fell in love. However, Sia’s family arranged her marriage with Ketan Aggarwal. Due to social and family pressure, he was unable to stop this arranged marriage, so he took the dangerous decision to get Ketan out of the way.
A failed attempt was made on June 14
Sia also discussed the matter with her brother, but after getting engaged in February, she could not find a way out of the situation. By the end of May, the two had finalized the assassination plan. Earlier also on 14 June he had unsuccessfully tried to kill Ketan at Lohagarh Fort. After which he decided that Chetan would be there physically during the next attempt. Currently, the Pune Rural Police has questioned Sia’s parents and uncles and conducted further investigation based on the mobile phone records of the accused.
