Ram Temple Donation Theft case:An FIR has been filed in Ayodhya’s Ramjanmabhoomi Kotwali on Thursday based on the complaint of Mandir Tirtha Kshetra Trust in the case of theft of chadawa in Sriram temple. This is the first major action in this chapter.
According to the information, the names of 8 people have been included in the FIR filed. On whom a case has been registered under Sections 306, 316, 317 and 61 of BNS. In it, a case has been filed against half a dozen people including Tinnu Yadav, Anukalpa Mishra under the sections of embezzlement, cheating, criminal conspiracy.
This action has been taken based on the facts revealed in the preliminary investigation. The FIR was lodged based on the complaint of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust. A case was registered based on the complaint of Shri Krishna Mohan. The names of six people are known to have been disclosed in the FIR.

Taking this into consideration and following the directions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, this FIR has been registered. On June 7: Samajwadi Party leader and former minister Pawan Pandey alleged theft of Rs 5 crore to Rs 7.5 crore from Ram temple’s donation and donations. June 13: An SIT was formed to probe the trust on its insistence.
June 15: The SIT obtained information from Shriram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champataray and invitee member Gopal Rai. 8 to 10 employees were interrogated for about six hours.
June 16: The team questioned Champatarai and Gopal Rai for four hours each. Along with this, 11 months old documents were also examined by the trust. The employees who counted the donations were questioned at length.
June 17: Bank officials and representatives of private agencies involved in counting the notes were extensively questioned by the investigation team. Meanwhile, bank statements and financial records were also checked.
June 18: The team stayed in the temple premises for 10 hours. Dr. Anil Mishra was extensively questioned for four hours. Titu Yadav was also questioned for about one and a half hours. Apart from this Anicle-Titu’s answer was cross-checked.
June 19: Champatarai, Dr. Anil Mishra and Gopal Rai, in-charge of Ram Mandir, were questioned separately. The branch manager and cashier of State Bank were also questioned.
June 20: The team obtained complete information about the bank accounts of all the accused and suspects. Evidence collected. After the investigation, the team left for Lucknow with all the evidence.
23 June: The SIT on Tuesday handed over the 20-page preliminary report to Sanjay Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary to the Home Minister.
June 25: FIR filed against 8 people including Anukalpa Mishra
