CBSE Class 12 Re-evaluation And Verification Results: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has completed an important post-result process for Class 12 students. The board has officially started declaring the results for revaluation and verification of errors in the answer sheets of class 12. According to CBSE, out of the total number of students who applied for this process, about 87 percent of students’ cases have been successfully resolved and their results have also been published. While the verification of pending applications will also be completed soon and the results will be uploaded on DigiLocker in a phased manner.

Revised Marksheet will be available online, objections cleared

The Board has clarified that students whose marks have changed (increase or decrease) during the process of verification or re-evaluation of answer sheets, are being provided new corrected marksheet digitally on DigiLocker platform. Students can also check the status by logging on to the official website of the board to know the latest status of their application. Board officials added that the objections and complaints raised by the students were found to be true during the investigation, the marks have been corrected by making necessary corrections as per the rules. On the other hand, the students whose results have been reported as “No Change” will also be given an opportunity to see their answer sheets in person. For this, inspection arrangements will be made at the concerned Regional Offices, the schedule of which will be announced soon.

More than 17 lakh students appeared for the exam

It may be mentioned here that CBSE declared the main result of Class 12 on May 13 this year, in which around 17.69 lakh students from across the country appeared for the exam. Students dissatisfied with the result were given an opportunity to get scanned copies of their assessed answer sheets from May 19 to May 25. Subsequently, official applications for revaluation and mark verification were invited by opening an online portal from June 2 to June 7.

Advice from IIT experts on monitoring and avoiding rumours

The board had set up a hi-tech security system to maintain the credibility of the entire revaluation process. Technical experts from Digital India Corporation, IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras were specially assisted to make the process completely transparent. The team strictly monitored the entire digital system to prevent any unauthorized or cyber intrusion. Finally, CBSE has appealed to students and parents not to believe unverified information or rumors from unofficial sources circulating on social media. The board has clarified that all the official information will be placed only on their website and in case of any confusion students can directly contact the regional office or CBSE tele-helpline.
