While supporting Bangladesh, Pakistan had refused to play in the T20 World Cup against India. The clash between India and Pakistan is to be held in Colombo on 15th February. ICC would have suffered huge losses if this match had not taken place. ICC sent its officials to Pakistan to talk to PCB. Bangladesh Cricket Board President Aminul Islam also attended that meeting.

Now Bangladesh Cricket Board has issued a statement. In this, Aminul Islam said that he has requested Pakistan to play the T20 World Cup match against India. In the statement, Aminul said, ‘We are very impressed by Pakistan’s efforts to support Bangladesh in this difficult time. May our brotherhood always last. Given the positive outcomes emerging from our discussions after my short visit to Pakistan yesterday, I request Pakistan to play an ICC T20 World Cup match against India on 15th February for the benefit of the entire cricket ecosystem.
Aminul Islam reached Pakistan at night
A meeting was held between ICC and Pakistan on Sunday. Suddenly Aminul Islam was called in this meeting. She left for Pakistan from Dhaka at around 1 am on Sunday night. Regarding this, Aminul had messaged the Bangladesh Board officials on WhatsApp informing them about his going to Pakistan. He had told that he had come to know about going there only about 90 minutes ago. He participated in the meeting between PCB and ICC on Sunday evening.
