6 youths extorted Rs. 10.57 lakh has been defrauded. In this case, a case has been registered against three persons including two office bearers of BJP Yuva Morcha.
Anand: A huge scam has been busted in Khambhat town that swindled millions of rupees by luring youths who wanted to go abroad to get Dutch work permits. Khambhat city police extorted from six youths a total of Rs. A case has been registered against three persons for defrauding Rs 10.57 lakh. In this scam, the names of two office bearers of the BJP Youth Front have come up and there has been a lot of confusion in the entire panth and in the political circles.
Regarding this, the complainant Malav Bhupeshbhai Patel got information from his friend that Hirengiri Dilipgiri Goswami, who has LIC office in Mochiwad area, is doing visa consulting. Hirengiri visited Malav with Chirag Arvindbhai Dodia.
The duo assured the complainant and his friends of employment, accommodation and work permit visas at the company’s warehouse in the Netherlands. An outlay of ₹ 6 lakh was fixed for this, out of which an advance amount was taken initially.
Coming to this belief, six youths including Malv Patel, Saurav Patel, Vivek Patel, Hrithik Patel, Kunal Patel and Harsh Patel handed over the necessary documents and the demanded amount to the accused.
However, not getting visas for a long time, the youth started enquiring. Then the accused put forward the name of Divyesh Dilipbhai Patel of Vadodara and said that there was a delay in the visa process. Divyesh Patel had also made an agreement to return the money if he did not get a visa after coming to Khambhat, but despite the passage of time, neither the visa nor the money was returned.
After the victims finally approached the police, the Khambhat city police registered a case against Hirengiri Dilipgiri Goswami, Chirag Aravindbhai Dodia and Divyesh Dilipbhai Patel under sections of cheating and betrayal.
Notably, Hirengiri Goswami Anand is the District BJP Youth Front Minister and Chirag Dodia is working as the Khambhat City BJP Youth Front Minister. A serious crime has been registered against both the office bearers and there has been an uproar in the political circles as well. The investigation of the entire case has now been handed over to the SOG.
