Surat News: A theft has taken place in a jeweler’s in Surat’s Pandesara. During the night, the smugglers entered the shop by breaking the sheet above the shop and carried out the theft. According to the shop owner, around 30 lakhs have been stolen.

According to information, a shop named Shree Krishna Jewelers is located on Pandesara Bamroli Main Road, Surat. Smugglers targeted this jeweler’s shop during the night. The smugglers entered the shop by breaking the sheet above the shop and stole gold and silver jewelery from the shop and escaped. In the morning, when the shop owner came to know about the theft, he woke up and immediately reported the matter to the police. The police reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. According to the shop owner, an estimated Rs 30 lakh has been stolen from the shop.

The police started an investigation into the theft

It is worth mentioning that, according to the shop owner, traffickers had tried to steal from the same shop earlier. But they were not successful. But this time the smugglers have managed to manipulate this shop of jewellers. Currently, the Pandesara police team has conducted further investigation into this entire matter. Manojbhai Soni, shop owner, said that the top of the shop was cut and looted, including silver jewelery and jewelery pawned by customers.

Attempted theft 6 months ago

He further said that there was an attempt to steal from the shop 6 months ago. Also in the year 2024, an attempt was made to break the shutter. This is the third time it has been stolen. He alleged that earlier when there was an attempted theft, a police complaint was filed but the complaint was not taken, according to the shop owner, around 30 lakhs was stolen.
