The phone will be equipped with 6.4-inch display
Information about the features of Xiaomi 18 has been shared on Weibo, in which it has been claimed that a 6.4-inch display can be given in the phone. Earlier reports were saying that it will be a compact flagship with a 6.3-inch screen.
In comparison, Xiaomi 17 had a 6.3-inch 1.5K (2,656×1,220 pixels) OLED screen, which supports 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate and 3,500 nits peak brightness.

Although the screen is said to be slightly larger, Xiaomi 18 can still be kept in the compact flagship category.
200MP periscope camera will be available in the series
According to the leak, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera can be given in all models of Xiaomi 18 series.
The current Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max have a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, while the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has a 200MP periscope lens. Whereas the standard Xiaomi 17 has a 50MP telephoto sensor.
Will Xiaomi 18 Pro get dual 200MP sensor?
According to previous reports, Xiaomi is testing two different 200MP sensors for a 6.3-inch compact flagship. It is believed that this device could be Xiaomi 18 Pro.

One of these sensors can be the main camera and the other a telephoto or periscope unit. If this happens, Xiaomi 18 Pro could become the flagship to adopt dual 200MP sensor like Oppo.
Will be equipped with the fastest processor
It is being said that Qualcomm is working on two versions of its next flagship chip. According to the leak, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor can be given in Xiaomi 18 Standard, Pro and Pro Max flagship smartphones, while Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro will be designed for more powerful Ultra flagship devices.
2nm processing technology can be used in it, which can be 30 to 40 percent faster than the previous Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
When will it be launched?
Although the company has not yet officially confirmed the Xiaomi 18 series, but according to reports, it can be launched in China in September.
