If the warranty of the phone is over and any part needs to be replaced, it can have a huge impact on your pocket.

Battery and software problems

Even though foldable phones get larger screens, the battery capacity has not increased in the same proportion. The result is that charging has to be done again and again. Apart from this, software optimization is also not completely perfect yet. Many apps are not designed for large foldable screens, which leads to problems like black bars, stretching and lag in multitasking while watching videos.

So is buying a foldable phone the right decision?

Experts say that if you like to explore new technology, you have a high budget and you can use the phone with utmost care, then a foldable phone can give a different experience for you. But if your priority is a durable phone, low repair costs and long battery life, then it might be wise to wait a bit before buying a foldable phone now.
