Indian student youth at the forefront of AI use

Sam Altman also explained the reason for the increasing popularity of ChatGPT in India. He said that Indian youth have made ChatGPT an important part of studies and research, hence this tool has become popular in the country much faster than others. India has the largest number of students using ChatGPT in the world.

He said that the number of internet users in India is more than 100 crores and the youth here are at the forefront in adopting new technology. OpenAI has directly benefited from this. This is the reason why OpenAI opened its office in Delhi last year and has also introduced special plans for Indians.
