Instructions to link to e-Samarth system by creating ABC ID

According to the Mumbai University administration, the university has asked all the colleges to create ABC ID of every student and link it to the e-Samarth system. The time for this is till 15th February 2026. Action will be taken against colleges that do not complete the process within the stipulated time.

Marksheet and degree will not be issued if ID is not made

ABC ID Circulars have been issued several times in the past as well. Camps were organized at the college level and meetings were also held with the officials. Despite this, ABC ID of a large number of students in some colleges has not been made. Now if the students’ ABC ID is not made then their marksheet and degree will not be issued.

Time till 15th February, then action will be taken

Mumbai University has made it clear that action will be taken under the University Act against the colleges which have not completed the ABC ID process even after February 15. The university administration says that it is mandatory to strictly follow these instructions.

Why is ABC ID important?

The university has clarified that without ABC ID, the academic credits of students will not be updated. This will have a direct impact on their further studies. Credits of students who do not have ABC ID will not be uploaded on the National Academic Depository Portal. Such students may be deprived of credit award and their mark sheets and degree The certificate may also be stopped.
