Maharashtra 70000 Govt Jobs : Maharashtra government has announced ‘Maha-Bharti’. The state government is soon going to start the recruitment process for more than 70000 posts. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced this in a high level meeting held on Monday in Mumbai regarding the reform of service recruitment rules. He told that these recruitments will be filled on the basis of the new transparent system.

50000 posts will be filled in Public Civil Service

There is a plan to fill more than 70000 posts in different phases in Maharashtra. CM Devendra Fadnavis informed that about 50,000 of these posts will be filled through Maharashtra Public Service Commission. The responsibility of government recruitment on the remaining 20000 posts can be handed over to government recognized recruitment agencies, which will conduct the examination and selection process.

Recruitment will be done in a new way

The Maharashtra government is about to implement a new statewide government recruitment system. The new system of recruitment was discussed in the high level meeting chaired by CM Devendra Fadnavis. In which the focus was on taking forward governance reforms and making administrative changes rapidly, giving priority to transparency in human resource management and hiring process. CM directed that there is a need to introduce online and digital verification models to prevent unnecessary paper and delays in the recruitment process.

In a post on his official Chaired an important meeting on reforms in the General Administration Department in Mumbai. Soon a new recruitment system will be implemented in the entire state. More than 70,000 posts will be filled in different phases, including about 50,000 posts through the Maharashtra Public Service Commission. Recruitment decisions will be based on required skills, service entry rules, eligibility criteria and nature of work.

The CM further said that all the main departments were directed to expeditiously carry out major administrative reforms by giving priority to transparency in human resource management and recruitment. The decision regarding changes in the state service recruitment rules will be taken in the cabinet meeting soon.

Emphasis on creating digital verification system

Fadnavis further said, ‘The human resource management model presented by the Maharashtra government in the Chief Minister’s Conference in the presence of Honorable PM Narendra Modi was highly appreciated and other states were also encouraged to adopt this reform model. With this, Maharashtra has become a guiding example for other states in governance reforms. Emphasis was laid on creating online and digital verification systems to ensure that the entire process is transparent, reliable and fast. Next year, a new governance reform model will be formed in Maharashtra, in which every department will play an important role. The Chief Secretary and concerned senior officers were present.

He said that if online verification of sensitive documents like passport is possible, then this model can be used in other processes also. For this, every department should make proper arrangements to give certificates based on blockchain method as well as DigiLocker system. To ensure that there is no doubt, discrimination or injustice in the recruitment process, the entire process should be transparent and trustworthy. Also the system needs to be cleaned and made faster. New models of Maharashtra governance reforms will emerge in the coming year.
