India Post GDS Recruitment 2026 Form: If you want to get a government job without examination, then a big recruitment of Postal Department has come for you. India Post has released GDS Recruitment Notification 2026 for more than 20 thousand posts. Through this recruitment, the posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) and Branch Post Master (BPM) will be filled in 23 circles across the country. Eligible candidates can apply for this recruitment now. Online registrations have started from January 31. For this, you should know the correct way to fill the form and the necessary documents required in the application.

Documents required for GDS recruitment

In this recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevak, 10th pass qualification has been sought. In such a situation, you will definitely need the 10th mark sheet to fill the form. Apart from this, some important documents will also be required. The Postal Department has also informed about these documents.

How to apply for GDS Recruitment?

You can fill the GDS recruitment form online yourself from mobile or laptop etc. For this, some steps mentioned below will have to be followed.
First of all go to the official website of India Post indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

  • Here you have to go to Stage 1 registration. Here you have to complete the registration process by filling your basic details like mobile number, email ID, date of birth, gender, circle, year of 10th passing.
  • After this in verification details
  • Now fill the Aadhaar number information. Fill the details of the language you have studied in 10th.
  • Now upload your latest colorful photo in jpg format within 50kb.
  • Signature must be uploaded within 20 kb.
  • Now check all the filled information once finally.
  • Select the postal department circle of your area in the registration number and circle applying for, verification code will be sent.
  • After filling it, go to the Apply Online tab in Stage 2.
  • Now some of your details will be pre-filled in the Application Form.
  • Fill your address and permanent address information in Address Details.
  • Now fill the details of board, marks etc. in your educational details.
  • Fill your preference as per GDS office.
  • After verifying all the details, click on Save & Proceed.
  • Now pay the application fee and submit the application form finally.
