There has been a big change in the overall trend of CUET UG examination. Earlier candidates usually used to choose 5 subjects but now a large number of students are choosing only 4 subjects from the available options. You can apply till 31st January

To be held for admission in graduation courses CUET UG 2026 The last date to apply is near. Online application for CUET UG can be made till January 30 at cuet.nta.nic.in. Till now more than 10 lakh candidates have applied for CUET UG. Let us tell you that the entrance test fee can be deposited through credit card, debit card, net banking and UPI till 11.50 pm on 31st January. The correction window in the online application form will be open between February 2-4.

Exam will be held on these dates

The exam will be held between 11th and 31st May. There will be many shifts in a day. Candidate can fill only one form, filling more than one form is not allowed. There will be 1 hour for each paper

The exam pattern of 2026 will be almost the same as that of 2025. The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Each paper will be of one hour each. There will be 50 questions in each paper and all questions will be compulsory. If you give a correct answer, you will get 5 marks whereas if you answer a question wrong, there will be a negative marking of one mark. All questions will be on MCQ based pattern only. 13,47,820 students had registered in CUET UG 2024. In 2025 this number increased to 13,54,699.

So many students applied for CUET PG

The application process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) for admission to PG courses in other higher education institutions including Central University has ended. 5,03,482 candidates registered for this examination to be held for 157 subjects but the number of unique candidates who deposited the fees was 4,06,663. There was an option to appear for a maximum of four subjects and a large number of students chose only three to four subjects. If seen in this way, this number is 703586 candidates. CUET-PG will be held in March 2026. Foreign students have also applied for PG courses.
