A feeling of great anger has spread among the people saying that the poor work done in the underground sewerage scheme is responsible for this situation.
Rajkot District Congress has made serious allegations against the system in this matter. According to Congress leaders, widespread corruption and irregularities have been practiced since the inception of this underground sewerage scheme. No responsible engineer, supervisor or third party inspection team is present at the site during the operation, due to which there is gross negligence in the work.
Locals say that roads are in such bad condition only during normal rains, so what will happen when it rains heavily? Due to the large landslides on the roads, there is a constant threat of vehicles falling into potholes and causing major accidents. Traffic problems have also become severe due to dilapidated roads.
