In the Ketan Aggarwal murder investigation, the police will now conduct a gate analysis of the accused Chetan Chaudhary. Was the hooded man seen at Lohgarh fort Chetan?
Ketan Agarwal Murder: The investigation in Pune’s much discussed Ketan Aggarwal murder has intensified. Now the case has taken a new turn, in which the police is preparing to conduct a forensic analysis of the walking pattern of the accused Chetan Chaudhary. Chetan Chaudhary’s lawyer has claimed that the hooded man in Lohgarh Fort and Chetan Chaudhary are not the same person. To disprove this defense argument, the police are now planning to conduct a gate analysis.
What is the main reason for investigation?
The lawyer of Chetan Chaudhary, the accused in the Ketan Aggarwal murder case, has made a shocking claim. According to the lawyer, the hooded person seen on CCTV or other footage at Lohgarh Fort is not Chetan Chaudhary himself. The police will now resort to ‘Gait Analysis’ to disprove this argument of the defense and reach the truth.
What is Gate Analysis?
Gait analysis is a scientific method in which a forensic analysis of a person’s gait is done. Police investigating agencies will use this technology to check whether the person seen near the entrance of Lohgarh Fort on the day of the incident is really Chetan Chaudhary. For this, the walking pattern of the accused will be matched with the person seen in the video footage. Apart from this, the police will again conduct a crime scene recreation at the fort and search for the clothes worn at the time of the incident.
10 crore defamation notice controversy
On the other hand, the controversy between Siya Goyal and her brother Sahil Goyal has also increased. Siya Goyal has appointed Ashutosh Srivastava as his lawyer. This lawyer has sent a defamation notice of Rs 10 crore to Sahil Goyal. The notice alleged that Sahil had publicly declared that he was not authorized by the family without confirming any official documents. These statements have led to claims of mental torture, trolling and damage to Sia’s reputation. It has also warned that if Sahil Goyal does not issue a public apology, legal action will be taken against him.
‘Sia Point’ and the growing craze of dark tourism
Due to the horror of this case, a strange situation is being observed at Lohgarh Fort. The spot from where Ketan was pushed down has been informally named ‘Sia Point’ by people on social media. According to local sources, this ‘dark tourism’ has increased the number of visitors to the fort by 25 per cent, which has also become a concern for the local administration.
