New 8 GIDC In Gujarat:Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel announced the setting up of 8 new GIDCs in various districts at the fourth leg of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference held in Vadodara with the objective of making Gujarat more credible in terms of investment, development and employment.

These smart estates will provide modern facilities, efficient infrastructure and investment-friendly environment to further accelerate the overall industrial development of the state. Smart Industrial Estates will be operational in an area of ​​3,611 acres in Kheda, Ahmedabad, Panchmahal, Chotaudepur and Bhavnagar districts.

Accordingly, Mahij GIDC in Kheda district will be developed in an area of ​​130.3 acres, Sarkhej GIDC in Kathlal taluk in 332.7 acres, Mahisa GIDC in Mahudha taluk in 18.5 acres, Angadi GIDC in Galateshwar taluk in 310.9 acres.

Apart from this, new smart industrials will be given to Mandal GIDC of Ahmedabad district in an area of 515.2 acres, Nadisar GIDC of Godhra taluk of Panchmahal district in an area of 105.5 acres, Undwa GIDC of Jetpur Pavi taluk of Chotaudepur district in an area of 247.1 acres and Monpur GIDC of Valbhipur taluk of Bhavnagar district in an area of 1950.7 acres. It was announced to be developed as estates.

Under this announcement, new industrial estates will be developed in a total area of ​​3611 acres in various districts of Gujarat. This planning will boost industrial investment in Central Gujarat, create new employment opportunities and promote local development.

The main objective of this initiative of the state government is to create well-organized industrial estates with plug-and-play facilities for industries, ease investors and create new employment opportunities for local youth.

These smart estates to be developed in the state will emerge as new hubs of industry, technology and employment. Through these projects small, medium and large enterprises will get a strong industrial ecosystem and also promote local industries and create new employment opportunities.
