Talking about the incident, a newborn lion cub of only 2 to 3 days has died from Hamapur in Bagsara taluk. The death of this young lion cub may be due to natural or other causes. Forest department took action in that direction.
Death of lion cub in Dalkhaniya range
A lion cub has died in the Dalkhaniya range of Amreli district. Here, the forest department team has created a stir after finding the dead body of a 6 to 7 month old lion cub in a suspicious condition. Also, prima facie fears have been expressed that the lion cub has been killed. It is suspected that some unknown person threw the baby to death.
Lion cub dies in Paniya range fight for dominance
