Khan Sir Patna Court Arrest Stay Extended: Famous teacher Faisal Khan aka ‘Khan Sir’ has got a big relief from the court in the Khan Global Studies coaching center firing case located in Chirchit Musallapur Haat of Patna, the capital of Bihar. The Patna Civil Court hearing the matter has extended the stay imposed on the arrest of Khan Sir till the next order. Khan Sir and his supporters have felt a great relief from this decision of the court.
Bail application hearing and police diary
A hearing was held on the anticipatory bail application filed by Khan Sir and his two personal security guards in the Patna Civil Court on Saturday. During the hearing, an updated case diary related to this case was presented before the court from the police administration. After hearing the arguments of the lawyers on both sides in detail, the court ordered that the interim protection granted to Khan Sir from arrest be continued till further orders. Now the next hearing of this high profile case will be held on a fixed date.
What is the matter of the whole controversy and firing?
The controversy started on the night of June 2, when there was a huge ruckus and stone pelting outside Khan Sir’s coaching institute in Musallapur Haat. It is alleged that during the commotion two rounds were fired in the air by both of Khan Sir’s security guards. It is the serious allegation of the prosecution that this firing by the guards was done on the behest and direction of Khan Sir. After this incident, the name of Faisal Khan (Khan Sir) was also added as an accused in the FIR registered by the Patna police. On the other hand, Khan Sir has termed all these allegations leveled against him as completely baseless and false.
Arrest of another coaching administrator and allegations of favoritism
Roshan Anand, director of another well-known coaching institute ‘Gyan Bindu GS Academy’, was earlier arrested by the police in the same case, though he was later granted bail by the court. The case took a new turn when Roshan Anand’s brother died under suspicious circumstances in a hotel in Nepal. Roshan Anand directly accused Khan Sir of murder for this death and also staged a protest to file a complaint at the Kadamkuan police station.
Accusing the police system of bias, Roshan Anand said that despite being named in the same FIR for which he was immediately arrested, the police have not yet taken any strict action against Khan Sir. Currently, Khan Sir’s arrest remains in abeyance after getting interim relief from the court and all eyes of Bihar are now on the progress of the police investigation and the upcoming hearing of the court.
