However, in the semi-finals of Ranji Trophy, Karnataka batsman Devdutt Padikkal, who was in excellent form, did wonders.

He scored a double century on the second day of the match. Padikkal’s bat continues to speak. He is continuously playing big innings. Padikkal is still present on the pitch. He is playing after scoring 202 runs in 297 balls with the help of 25 fours and 2 sixes.

Devdutt Padikkal is walking out of the Indian team

25 year old Devdutt Padikkal is out of the Indian team. He made his Test debut for India in 2024. After that he got a chance to play 2 tests, in which Padikkal scored 90 runs. Devdutt played his last Test for India on the Australia tour in 2024. Since then he has been dropped.

However, the kind of form Devdutt Padikkal is in, it seems that he may return to the Test team soon. Devdutt also made his T20 debut for India in 2021. He has scored 29 runs in 2 T20 Internationals.

KL Rahul also scored a century

Opening the innings for Karnataka against Uttarakhand, experienced batsman KL Rahul also batted brilliantly in the Ranji Trophy semi-finals. He also scored a century. KL Rahul played an amazing inning of 141 runs in 211 balls with the help of 11 fours and 5 sixes. KL Rahul is an important part of India’s Test and ODI team. KL Rahul has been placed in B grade in the Central contract for 2025-26 recently released by BCCI.
