Statements from leaders have started coming in regarding the AI Impact Summit (2026) which started from Monday in New Delhi. Some NDA leaders have called it a historic step for the country. Leaders say that Artificial Intelligence (AI), data and semiconductors are going to be the biggest forces in the coming times. For this, India will have to move forward strongly in this field at the global level.
Leaders responded to the summit
Health Minister in Bihar Government, Mangal Pandey called the summit an important initiative and gave credit for it to the thinking of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the Prime Minister always promotes works that are in the national interest, and he deserves congratulations for supporting such efforts.
Meanwhile, JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha said that technology is changing the whole world and AI, data and semiconductors are the main forces of this change. He said that India will have to keep pace with global standards, that is why this world-class AI summit is being organized today. He informed that Bihar is also actively participating in it and Bihar Pavilion will be inaugurated the next day. Also, efforts are being made to connect the youth with new technologies so that India does not lag behind in the field of innovation and technology.

BJP MLA Ram Kadam said that just as AI is creating new opportunities across the world, this summit will prove to be a platform to decide the direction of the future. He informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend and experts will discuss how AI technology can be effectively implemented in business, education and other sectors. He said that the coming era will be in the name of data and AI.
AI Summit 2026 begins at Bharat Mandapam
Amidst these statements, AI Impact Summit 2026 was also inaugurated at Bharat Mandapam on Monday. The expo to be held at the summit will be spread over 70,000 square meters, in which more than 300 companies from 30 countries will showcase their technology. AI Impact Summit is being organized between 16 to 20 February.
The event includes global tech companies, startups, educational institutions, research institutes, central ministries, state governments and international partners. Pavilions for 13 countries have been built in the expo, which include Australia, Japan, Russia, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and many African countries. The event also offers a glimpse of global cooperation.

2.5 lakh people expected to attend
More than 2.5 lakh visitors are expected to attend AI Impact Expo 2026. In which a large number of international representatives will also participate. The objective of this platform is to promote AI in many sectors including education, employment, health, agriculture, create new partnerships in the AI ecosystem and create new business opportunities.
