American tech company Apple is giving new impetus to its retail expansion in India. The company will open its sixth store in Mumbai’s Borivali area on February 26. This will be Apple’s second store in Mumbai and is considered an important step amid the growing business in the country.

A glimpse of Indian culture in design

The architecture of this new Apple store has been designed on the theme of India’s national bird ‘Peacock’. According to the company, this design not only reflects beauty, but it also symbolizes confidence, modernity and creativity. Earlier, such design has also been adopted in stores located in Hebbal, Bengaluru, Koregaon Park, Pune and Noida.

Store will open at 1 pm

This new store of Apple will be opened to the general public on February 26 at 1 pm. Here customers will be able to see, buy new Apple products and also get direct advice from the company’s experts. The company says that this store will also prove beneficial for startups and business people, because product demo and professional guidance will be available here.

Special session facility will be available for customers

Specialist, creative and genius team members in the store will assist customers. Apart from this, customers will also be able to participate in free sessions called ‘Today at Apple’. In these sessions, people can learn to use their devices better and develop new creative skills.

Historic growth in Indian market

Apple CEO Tim Cook in the recent earnings call described India as a key emerging market for the company. According to the report, the company has achieved record revenue in India in the October to December quarter. He said that the company has seen strong double-digit growth in earnings in emerging markets like India.
